My heart once danced alone,
Filled with sadness and despair.
The steps remained the same,
Yet stage was so very bare,
Until you came to save me,
From that horrible nightmare.

You took me by the hand,
And guided me along the way,
Through twists, twirls, and spins,
Throwing all the grief away.
You enlightened my mind and heart,
While our souls continued to sway.

My soul found its partner,
When you brought joy back to life.
Let me now stay with you,
Let our souls dance in the twilight,
Let us move together,
And waltz away the endless night.
